Fredericksburg-Princess Town Friendship Day in honour of Ghana’s 69th Independence Anniversary Day

Celebration of Ghana’s Independence Day by Ghanaian Diaspora in Fredericksburg, Virginia and Proclamation of 6th March, 2026 as Fredericksburg-Princess Town Friendship Day in honour of Ghana’s 69th Independence Anniversary Day. Princess Town is located in the Ahanta West District of the Western Region of Ghana. Present at the ceremony were Ambassador Jane Gasu Aheto, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Ghana, Washington DC; Ambassador Bridgewater, Former U.S Ambassador to Ghana; Mayor of Fredericksburg, Kerry P. Devine; Members of the City Council; Ghana-Fredericksburg Sister-city Committee Member, Oral Ofori; and other dignitaries.
