Customer Relations Officer Position

Duties:-
1. Answer Calls:
• Respond to incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Direct calls to the appropriate department or person.
• Operate a switchboard or phone system to connect callers with the right extensions.

2. Consular Support:
• Assisting with tasks related to visas, passports, and other consular services.
• Deliver messages via email, note, or verbal communication.
• Periodic updates on the Mission’s social media platforms and website with prior approval from administration.

3. Provide Information:
• Offer basic information about the Embassy and Ghana as a whole when people call to make inquiries

4. Respond effectively and resolve customer service issues
Offer prompt and effective solution
Provide solutions that address customer needs and concerns. Monitor and measure customer satisfaction and take proactive action to remedy any concerns.

5. Keep staff contact lists and internal directories current

6. Perform other administrative functions as may be assigned

Skills and Qualities:-
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
• A professional and positive attitude, with a focus on customer service
• Exceptional customer service skills, telephone etiquette, and written or verbal communication acumen
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Qualifications:-
College or University Degree or/and 5 Years working experience in customer service or related field

Working Hours
Chancery: Monday - Friday  :
9:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Consular: Monday - Friday  :
9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Visits to the Consular Section will be by online appointment only.
